My way to Usui Reiki
I would like to tell you about my personal experiences with the Reiki Energy, how I got to know its efficiency and how I understand it.
More than ten years ago I suffered from a prolapse of an intervertebral disc. It happened out of the blue, without having overstrained, twisted or in any way dislocated my vertebras. It felt as if someone had plugged in a plug into my lower back, and suddenly healing energy poured out from my hands. At the same time great changes happened within myself. I have noticed an increase in inner visions and this also in the interior of other people. In order to learn better how to deal with those changes, I had decided to undergo an in-depth training and professional education in this field. My medical knowledge served me always as a reliable and valuable background to my expanding knowledge.
At first I put myself in the hands of an experienced teacher of Reiki to receive a lengthy training from her. This Reiki training was mainly about the knowledge how to apply the Reiki energy, but also about the comprehensive self experience of the energetic processes occurring within me, including the releasing of blockages and behaviour pattern by means of Reiki energy.
Reiki means the salubrious energy itself as well as the mode of treatment. Reiki translated (from Japanese) means „universal life energy”. When giving treatments with Usui Reiki this energy is transferred into the body of the treated person. The performing therapist serves as a channel for this energy. The purer the channel, the less resistance hampers the flowing stream of energy. During the treatment I make myself as thin and permeable as possible, so that nothing from my own personality intermingles with the Reiki energy, to enable its direct effects in the highest possible degree. In the moment in which I sense a blockage or an energetic “hole” in the consciousness of that specific being, in that same moment already the change or the restructuring of the energy field of my client happens.
Reiki energy always acts to the best of all concerned,
as it comes from a level in which all information, all knowledge is present and available.
This energy knows what cannot be accessed by most human minds, at the utmost by human intuition. Reiki energy supports only what serves the ultimate good of that person and his/her life setting. Therefore the effects of a Reiki treatment are sometimes surprising, and unfold when and where it was not expected. Due to this fact it is not possible to give a healing promise in the narrower sense. The relieving and calming effects, however, are almost always immediately noticeable and the clients feel very much alleviated after a few Reiki treatments. The Reiki energy has dissolved unfinished business from the past and taken away through the channel – and transformed.
I hold the opinion that Reiki energy itself is “untouchable”. Often it is problematic what people do with this energy. The Reiki training in higher grades is sometimes very costly. In my opinion it is important that in our times more of this beneficial energy is spread out into humanity to support the development and enlargement of human consciousness as a whole.
